Le feuillet de titre est encadré d'un très beau décor gravé sur bois. Le dernier feuillet comporte un bois de la marque de l'éditeur représentant un cavalier en armure. Une main s'échappe du ciel et tient un nid de cigognes.

Andreas Althamer (1498-1564) était un humaniste allemand et réformateur luthérien.
